We are a responsible, reliable senior citizen couple who would be available to house-sit in the Greater London area from the beginning of December through to the end of March. We have sold our house, and the apartment we have bought is not yet ready for occupation, which is why we are looking to take the route of house-sitting for this period. We would obviously be willing to do a number of shorter periods in a variety of different houses.

We would not require payment for our service.

We are retired professionals. My husband was an Oil Company Executive and I was a High School Teacher. He is a British citizen, and I am a South African with an ancestry visa which permits me to live and work in UK. We are non-smokers and are healthy, fit and active.

We are animal-lovers and would therefore be willing to care for pets. Over the years we have both owned and loved pets. We do not own pets at present, since we enjoy travelling, and feelthat it would be unfair on the pet to go away as often as we do.

We own a car.
