Advanced Qualified Social Worker
We are currently seeking a Advanced Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection Frontline Service in the West London Area.
Duties and Responsibilities;
1. Assessment and Service Provision:-
2. To undertake assessments of the needs of children and their families taking into account their views, and ensure the establishment of individual care plans with particular reference to discriminated against groups.
3. To undertake the investigation of child protection referrals and to provide assessments that facilitates decision-making by appropriate line managers and to take into account the multi disciplinary context.
4. To provide a social work service as agreed in care plans and in accordance with departmental policies and priorities. To participate in the costing, co ordination, monitoring and review of care plans in line with department procedure. To assess and promote the life chances of LAC, including, their education, health and leisure needs.
5. To maintain awareness of current legislative requirements as relating to children and to participate in relevant training. To produce court statements when required, give evidence in court. To provide clear verbal and written reports to child protection conferences, reviews, planning, meetings and any other purpose as required.
6. To assist in production and implementation of the Key Task and Team Business Plans.
7. To maintain accurate and full records of interventions with service users in line with Department's policies and procedures. To attend and participate in care/case reviews/conferences as required.
8. To use regular supervision, staff appraisal and to participate in staff meetings to ensure an effective service to users and carers and further professional development. To participate in duty systems as required.
Pay rate from £24 - £30 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
