For sale i have a 1995 M reg Golf 1.8 Cabriolet in red it has an MOT until february 2010 and is taxed until November 2009 so it is ready to drive away

it is a 3 door finished in a beautiful gleaming red

It has covered just under 103,000 miles with lovely service history including a recent service, it had its cambelt changed at 95,000 miles in May 2008 it also had new front brake discs and pads. Has a large folder full of receipts of work done and every single MOT it has had.

It is powered by a 1.8 litre engine that starts first time great with a recent new battery, car ticks over fine and does not appear to be using any oil or water. It is a 5 speed manual and all the gears work fine along with the clutch. on test drive got stuck in very heavy traffic and it did not overheat at all, obviously a very well looked after car.

It has a manual roof, that was replaced at a cost of over £800 (have invoices) needless to say it is in very good condition with no rips or tears and folds down easily - quicker than electric, roof also benefits from having a heated glass back window so it is not cracked or worn, fully lined so it is nice and quiet at speed. Also included is a tonneau cover that is in excellent condition

interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears in the seats, nice sports seats that hold you in position well and well colour co-ordinated with the rest of the car, has 4 electric windows that all work, power steering, and drivers and passenger airbags. There is not a CD player fitted in the photos but a new one is being fitted.

This car has a laserline thatcham 1 alarm and immobiliser, certainly works well and is a very good system helpful in lowering insurance - have two keys for this also along with certificate of installation.

As you can see from the photo's the car is sitting on 17 inch 5 spoke alloys, these have just been refurbished and fitted today 16/10/09 the two front tyres are brand new and the rears are not new but have loads of tread left 5-7mm also has the run flat tyre and jack and tools in the boot. The car has been lowered by 40mm in may 2008 which makes it sit very nicely on these wheels.

glasswork is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

I have the full V5C long with MOT certificate and all previous ones, service history, volkswagon manuals, spare keys and all immobiliser keys
