Samaritans seek to reduce the number of people who take their own life by
providing confidential emotional support, day and night, to anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair.

The snack bar is crucial for raising the funds for Samaritans at Bexley & Dartford.

By volunteering just a few hours each week you will ensure that we can continue to support and reach out to those in the local community who are going through a crisis in their lives.

Volunteers are needed for weekday and weekend sessions in our snack bar to help serve refreshments to visitors to the prison.

Our Snack Bar is in the Visitors' Centre at Belmarsh Prison, Thamesmead.

The snack bar is open: every afternoon 1315 to 1600 (including Sat & Sun. except Weds) plus on Saturday mornings 0830 to 1100
