New open mic night @ Captain Morgans Free House 210 Field End rd, Eastcote Ha5.
Open mic rules: Ok! I have been asked to run an open mic evening every two weeks with a view to booking artists for Friday and Saturday night gigs. The venue currently only has 5 acts playing there at the moment you do the math? I have a budget to pay acts between £120 - £300 per gig which is good money!
Ok! The rules are i will give one sometime two artists the special slot which means you'll get £25 for your set which must be 50/50 covers and originals and a half hour long and if it goes down well we'll book you a 90% covers gig for a Friday or Saturday night. All other performers will be asked to do a set which must be 50/50 covers and originals for 15 mins and will get a free pint and you will equally have the chance to impress the manager and myself a be booked for a weekend gig. Make sense?


Other stuff: If you have a big following you can play more of your own stuff!
The lower end of the pay rates are biased on how many people are in your act and HOW GOOD YOU ARE, the better you are the higher the pay.
Its acoustic stuff really but the venue will accommodate small three piece acts with a down sized kit. The open mic will have a great PA, monitors and mics
We are looking for artists who entertain, entertain and entertain. Oh and its really hard to tell how good you are from demo recordings.....................So sign up and play
