Donations Welcome For widow & young children (husband was 40)
Hello,
I am begging for money, if you have any to spare, however large or small.
My husband died of liver failure 12 weeks ago. So here i am, at 39, with my young children (aged 3 & 4) , a cat, a dog & a house with a huge mortgage.
it's been a horrendous year. My husband used to work in the City, then he lost several jobs and at some point started drinking heavily. We both used to enjoy a drink, but somewhere along the line, he stepped over the line and became an alcoholic. But of course, he wouldnt admit that.
He was a wonderful kind man who didnt know how to face his problems. He became a different person, always tired, forgetful, bad tempered, lost his sense of humour and the lovely man i married vanished.
In July this year -2009- he went for blood tests at the doctors, and was sent straight into hospital, where he stayed for 4 weeks until he died.
Needless to say i am devastated. When he went into hospital, i was so relieved not to be taking care of him anymore & i thought he'd finally get the help he needed, but sadly it was too late.
if you know anyone who is an alcoholic, please tell them this story, it might save them. My husband would be gutted to know that he won't see his children grow up or cheer them playing rugby or football.
I am so sad but so angry with him for leaving me.
Unfortunately, he didnt have any life assurance in place- so foolish. It never occurred to me, he always had life insurance through work but as he was out of work when he died, it doesnt count.
What a waste of a life, its so tragic, it shouldnt have happened. I nagged & nagged him about drinking, & now i don't even get to say "i told you so"
What do i need the money for?
To make me feel better, to give me a cushion to look after my kids.
I would love to raise enough money so that i can sell this house & buy somewhere smaller outright.
I drive a clapped out car, which won't last forever.
Only one of my kids is at school so its hard to work at the moment, but i will, i've worked since i was 16, I'm not a sciver.
As a matter of commonsense & security, I will not give out any of my personal details and any donations made will be made via Paypal.
Thank you in advance for your help however large or small.
