Communications officers needed to volunteer overseas on expeditions
Raleigh, an education charity relies on teams of experienced volunteer managers in project and field based roles to help run community, environment and adventure expeditions for young people (venturers) aged 17-24 from all walks of life. We currently run expeditions in Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and India.
The best thing about this role is that it is so varied. I organised the weekly Radio Raleigh show. I was very lucky to have a team who were enthusiastic about the show, had some amazing ideas and really put the effort in. This was so much fun and I was really sad at the last broadcast I think the field base team sometimes enjoy it more than the venturers and project managers! Rosie Palliser
We are urgently looking for a Communications Officer for our expedition departing in February 2010 to India. If you are interested in applying or finding out further information please let me know.
