Nice and quiet village located in a picturesque canyon (in ancient time this used to be a bottom of a sea), and nearby two rivers: Danube River and Osam river. Evlogievo is one kilometer away from an International Transit Corridor connecting Romania through the Danube river and The Pass of the Republic (the biggest pass in the Balkan Mountain) and leading to the South neighbours of Bulgaria- Turkey and Greece. Recently a ferry connecting Romania with the Bulgarian port Nikopol was put into operation, and the road from Nikopol to the Balkan Mountain was completely rehabilitated, so this gives Evlogievo very communicative and strategic position. The village offers all the basic utilities like post-office, a pub, shops, cafes, bus-stop, etc.
