The Learning Disabilities Service at SweetTree is growing fast. We are currently seeking a live in support worker for a 26 year old female living in Knightsbridge,

She has mild learning disability and Down syndrome. NO PERSONAL care is required. Support worker to enable her to maintain her daily living skills and support her through the transition of becoming independant

We are currently looking for a female Support Worker who MUST have learning disability experience, enjoy swimming, going to the gym and willing to commit on a live in basis days to be agreed during interview.

We offer a comprehensive induction and training program and all support workers are assisted by the Service Manager and the Training Manager

We are looking for people with the following skills:

• 6 months experience working with people with learning disabilities and other associated conditions including mental health experience
• experience as keyworker implementing and developing care plans
• ability to work on ones own initiative with excellent communication skills

Candidates who are available at short notice and flexible in their approach to work would be ideal. Staffs are recruited on a bank contract to allow flexibility

You must be willing to come into the head office for a 3 day induction training followed by 1 day Introduction to Learning Disabilities. (All training free of charge)

Please bear in mind you must pay £38.00 for a new CRB – existing copies will not be accepted unless they are dated within the last 3 months
