This school has a real family feel to it - it is catholic but has never stipulated to me over the past 5 years that they have any preference for catholic teachers - although i suspect they would be over the moon if you are..

The role has literally just become available due to an experienced teacher tending her resignation to take up a role at an international school.

For this particular role we are really interested in engaging teachers - we are looking I guess at a minimum of a years experience again probably ideally in a relatively academically competent environment.

The position is to teach right up to A-level inclusive of Year 12 and and due to the fact there are two NQTs currently in the dept - we are really in need of someone who can hit the ground running.

The school normally takes on teachers on a temp to perm basis - so you start on long term supply with us potentially if both parties are happy then it will become permanent.

This is a school where you will get a warm welcome from day one, it is an old school so it does not have the new classrooms and big glass walls of some of the newer schools but you get motivated pupils and the opportunity to actually teach day in day out.

Interviews will take place as and when suitable applicants express an interest - the school would like to appoint in the next 3 weeks to start in January with some handover in December - the school is located in East london.
