Experienced and Professional “Bar Supervisor” and “Assistant Manager” required for “Bavarian Beerhouse London” (full time, male or female)

We are looking for an experienced and professional “Bar Supervisor” for a full time position – approx 45 hours a week - to support the General Manager in the running of the bar and training of Bar staff. You will need to have at least 2 years experience in supervisory positions in the hospitality industry.

Key attributes would be to have excellent customer service qualities and strong leadership skills as well as being dynamic, presentable, responsible and fun. Responsibilities include staff management and training, supplier liaisons and stock control. You will be able to motivate and help to direct a team of staff, have an eye for detail, are a hands-on person and be capable of dealing with operational problems.

Essential for this role:
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Good communication skills to look after and train a small team
• Impeccable appearance and well-groomed
• The desire to offer the best service to discerning customers

Furthermore we are looking for an “Assistant Manager”
We wish to appoint an Assistant Manager, who will make up a team of three, working with the General Manager and the Events Manager. He/she must have experience in customer service, particularly within a Restaurant/Bar environment. Being able to manage, supervise and motivate casual staff is an important part of the role. Duties are organized on a rota basis and she/he will be expected to work weekends, Bank Holidays and late shifts. An ability to handle money, including till management and careful accounting for monies taken, is essential.
