Spanish by Havana University Lecturer

Hola,

I have been teaching Spanish for nearly fifteen years now, including teaching at Havana University and also in two UK Universities: Birkbeck College and London Metropolitan University. The courses I offer cover the four main language skills: listening, speaking, a bit of reading and writing. However, as communication is the main function of language, ALL my courses are focused on SPEAKING. I use a very dynamic and interactive but friendly approach and authentic recordings (tapes and videos) in order to back up the courses I teach. In addition, ALL the course materials are included and I do teach one-to-one as well as small groups of up to 4.

I am a Spanish native speaker, have translated 23 films for Paramount, Universal Studios and DreamWorks (Spielbergs' Company) and work
as simultaneous /conference interpreter for The BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera,
the UK Court Service and for the EU in Brussels. I am also a writer and
