EVENING RETAIL MANAGER, £18K + £4k BONUS, SOUTHWEST LONDON. We are currently recruiting an experienced and hands on retail manager / duty manager to run a food store in South West London (near Chelsea bridge). This is a unique chance to be part of a small but growing company and be involved with new openings of retail and catering outlets.

Your role will be to monitor, order and store the stock, manage the other staff, serve the customers, cash up, close the store and communicate with the owner regarding the operations.

The ideal retail manager candidate will have a strong retail background, having worked as manager (or assistant manager in a large store) for at least 3 years. You must have experience at stock management, excellent customer service skills, paperwork skills and numeracy. You must also be smart, presentable, well groomed, career minded, have excellent English communication skills. A good knowledge of food and wine would also be advantageous.

The salary for the retail manager is £18,000 per annum with the opportunity to earn quarterly bonus of £1,000 linked to key performance indicators. The store is open 7 days a week, but you will be required to work 5/7 days including some weekends. The hours will be approximately 4pm – 11pm.
