English/Peruvian family based in Val d'Isere, France is looking for an open, friendly and adaptable au pair girl to start December 09 and to stay till May 2009.

We have just had our first born child, a beautiful little boy, so ideally we need someone with previous experience with babies and will be happy caring for a new born baby.

We both work here in Val d'Isere in the tourist industry and are very energetic, outgoing and honest people. We have a small dog, Tobi, who is a special part of our family so a pet lover is a must. In the winter we work, but enjoy the outdoors and the snowy playground that is the French alps. The village is very much alive in the winter being a busy ski resort so there is lots to experience.

The job: Tasks include childcare (feeding, bathing and changing) + light housework (Its a small apartment so does not need much tidying, so just occassional vacuuming, arranging clothes & some occasional cooking). Taking Tobi for a walk in the afternoon.
We need someone who can be flexible with hours so to fit in around our work schedule but we anticipate an average of 40 hours a week. We have a small apartment so we will be providing accommodation seperate to ours, but our home will be yours as well for you to use freely. We will provide 3 meals a day so all living costs will be covered. In addition we will provide 300€ per month remuneration. We will also pay travel to Val d'Isere if coming from Europe.

The nanny we are looking for should be a reliable, trustworthy and outgoing person, who is adaptable to new environments. Someone who enjoys the outdoors, nature-loving and winter sports would find Val d'Isere to be a particularly attractive location. A little spoken French would be an advantage or a willingness to learn the language.
