Bartender
Rex Restaurant Associates which incorporates The Wolseley and St Alban is looking to recruit. These high profile restaurants are owned by Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, previous owner-operators of The Ivy, Le Caprice, and J.Sheekey.
Currently, The Wolseley (www.thewolseley.com) is looking for highly energetic and talented bartenders to work in one of London's busiest, high profile restaurants.
We are looking for driven and committed individuals, who are willing to work in a demanding bar environment, in return you would enjoy excellent remuneration and staff benefits. Rex Restaurant Associates is committed to the continual training and development of their staff so you would have plenty of opportunity for career progression.
Candidates must be passionate about all aspects of classic bartending including classic cocktails and you would also need to have a good working knowledge of wine. Successful candidates must possess an understanding and empathy for food service so previous waiting experience would be advantageous.
In addition to looking after customers who are dining in the bar area the bar also operates as a dispense bar servicing the restaurant’s needs. Presentation and attention to detail are key to ensuring the quality of our beverage offerings match those of our food. Most importantly, candidates must have energy, passion, stamina and commitment. You will need to demonstrate that you are able to keep a cool head and to work quickly and cleanly under pressure.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years experience working as a bartender within a quality restaurant or 5 star hotel. The positions are full time and offer a rare opportunity to work for market leaders within the hospitality industry.
Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK will be required.

Salaries start from £21,000 and can rise to £28,000 per annum depending upon experience.
