ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Novotel London St Pancras is located adjacent to the British Library, just two minutes from the new London St Pancras station and within walking distance of Euston and Kings Cross stations. This hotel is a 4**** star property that has 312 bedrooms, Mirrors restaurant and 17 unique meeting and conference facilities including the 466 Shaw Theatre and the Nobel Suite. The critically acclaimed Mirrors Restaurant, seating 90+, serves a Modern European menu also has one AA rosette.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Assistant Maintenance Manager. The Assistant Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of 5 and will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous hotel experience working in a similar size property. An HVAC qualification and Supervisory skills are essential.
Together with the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the maintenance team demonstrates the highest standards of care and attention to detail.
You will assist the Maintenance Manager in the training and development of the team and will drive them to achieve high quality in maintenance of the hotel.
You will be a team-player, motivator and have the flexibility to work shifts and accommodate to business needs. With your strong communication skills and ‘hands on’ pro-active approach, you will ensure that the guests are completely satisfied throughout their entire stay.
