I'm an experienced jazz singer looking for young, vibrant musicians to work with on a regular basis.
I gig a lot in london with many wonderfull professional jazz musicians, but don't have a band of my own and I'm sure I'm missing out! I love all the standards, but want to write songs too. I also love blues and enjoy covering/reworking unlikely songs. I ultimately want a band that is fresh, interesting and young instead of boring and stiff.
There are paid gigs lined up already, but you need to be someone who just has as mush grit and soul and love for music as I do and who want's to play open mic nights and hav fun as well as build someting. Ideally you can comit to fairly regular jams/rehearsals preferrably in Central or West london as I'm based in Ealing.
