General Manager / Catering Manager £30,000 - 36,000 London - Contract Catering

We are looking for a strong General Manager / Catering Manager for a contract caterer for a multi site location, you will be looking after 1 million turnover offering conference and function, grab and go, deli bar as well as a staff restaurant with over 300 clients on site. This is a cost plus contract with a focus on client service looking after external and internal clients. We are looking for an experienced General Manager / Catering Manager in the location in London.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Maintaining all company policies and systems, H&S, Food Safety, Pay Roll, Cash Handling and Financial Control. Ultimately responsible for all areas of the catering departments.
Ensuring client relations are strong and seen as a positive and productive relationship.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiastic and willing to develop your own skills and the skills of others, a good team builder with superb leadership skills.
Proven experience of using own initiative and problem solving.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
Hold a recognised Catering Industry Management Certificate / Diploma or similar qualification and experience
Demonstrate a proven track record of running a similar operation within the industry
Hold an Intermediate Food Safety & H&S certificate


In this role you will develop business structures in accordance with company and clients agreed SLA, for a strong contract caterer. You will have strong knowledge in Health and Safety and safety policies. We are looking for someone with large multi Site experience. Excellent communication skills and strong man management, drive for fresh food and quality of service.
