Due to an increase in occupancy, the Nursery Class are looking for an adaptable, forward thinking and committed Nursery Nurse to become part of the dedicated team. The school have recently refurbished the whole nursery department and the children enjoy new resources and equipment.

The school is set in large grounds and has fantastic facilities. It has a welcoming and homely atmosphere with brightly decorated classrooms. The children’s work is on display around the school and the parents are welcome to join their children for open mornings each week.

Your role as Nursery Nurse is to support the Class Teacher and be responsible for a key group of children. You will be familiar with the EYFS and will be able to plan activities and learning opportunities for the children. You will extend activities through completing observations and assessments and keep the children’s Learning Journeys up to date.

The Early Years Team are made up of Class Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Nursery Nurses, together they all strive to make the Early Years Department a vibrant, fun and exciting place for the children to play and learn.

You will be part of an exciting time for the school, with a real opportunity to become part of an established team and progress your career. The Senior Leadership work well as part of a team and you will be supported in your new role.

You must be Level 3 qualified
Have a CRB issued within the last 12 months
Have strong written and verbal skills
Be able to take direction but use own initiative
