I need to do some work on my London home, so am looking for a quiet flat or house to rent for the next few weeks - flexible about start and end dates, but ideally to begin soonish, and last at least 3 weeks.

Very happy to feed cats, water plants etc. as part of the deal (but not keen on dogs). Not too fussed about which bit of London as long as it's tubeable and a nice place, not gloomy hellpit with plywood furniture. Am late 30s professional, can give refs from well-regarded charity employer.
