We are looking for an e-Commerce Assistant whose prime objective is to develop, monitor and maintain the websites of our luxury travel brand.

This role sits within an e-Commerce department focused on researching and transforming the ideas and strategies of our worldwide local brands into user-friendly and expressive text aligned with our style and distinctive over-arching brand. The role involves responsibility for maintaining a selected portfolio of Portuguese and English websites; co-ordinating information between various teams, properties and agencies; implementing search engine optimisation strategies and conducting a variety of e-marketing campaigns.

It is essential that applicants have complete fluent written and spoken ability in both English and Brazilian Portuguese. The right candidate will have a knack for creating visually inspiring pages and have a way with words to capture reader’s imaginations to increase the conversion of online visitors to customers.

Essential qualifications:
•Educated to A-level standard or equivalent specific subjects are not necessary

Essential skills and experience:
•Diplomatic, articulate and confident communicator
•Adaptable and fluid approach to working
•Accurate and a keen eye for detail
•Work from own initiative and creatively contribute to the team
•Good presentation skills
•Good understanding of the operation of the internet
•Comfortable with numeric analysis
•Computer literate

Desirable skills and experience:
•Knowledge of search engine optimisation
•Writing online copy
•Knowledge and experience of working with HTML or other coding languages

Training on in-house systems will be provided.
