Senior Hr Adviser Recruitment
Responsible to: Human Resources Manager
Responsible For: 2 HR Advisors and 1 HR Administrator
PLEASE NOT - THIS IS A SENIOR HR ROLE - HR EXPEREINCE IS ESSENTIAL
Job Purpose: Provide a comprehensive recruitment service which meets the needs of our client , ensuring the delivery of high quality, timely and best value service across all the recruitment activities. Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues.
Manage the recruitment processes - including advertising, response handling, tracking systems, selection, CRB checks and candidate liaison - are effectively administered within appropriate service level agreements.
Assist HR Manager in developing and reviewing recruitment policies and procedures
Review job descriptions and person specifications regularly and ensure that they are up-to-date, and written in a clear and structured way. Arrange job evaluation as necessary.
Develop, organise and run assessment centres and other selection processes
Develop, maintain and update recruitment template documents
Liaise with managers to advise them on recruitment matters, forecast recruitment needs and plan recruitment campaigns
Provide managers with recruitment data and analyses on a regular basis
Contribute to the business planning process at organisational/Directorate/Local Delivery Unit level, ensuring that recruitment issues are raised and addressed effectively.
Ensure that all enquiries from members of the public and staff are handled efficiently and in a timely manner
Act as Contract Manager for two Framework Agreements to supply temporary staff.
Liaise with Procurement and assist in developing specifications for agency contracts
Act as Contract Manager for Preferred Suppliers List to source temporary Specialist staff.
Monitor costs of agency contracts liaison with Finance department
Collate and analyse information on agency staff
Plan and co-ordinate induction for the Recruitment team ensuring that new staff understand their roles and the roles of others within HR and Our client.
Monitor and manage Recruitment staff performance to meet required standards, including development, supervision and appraisal, and take action for improvement as appropriate.
Deal with discipline and grievance issues as necessary.
ESSENTIAL Qualifications & Experience & Skills
CIPD qualified or working towards full membership
BPS Level A & B
Experience of working in a Senior Recruitment role - WITHIN HR
Experience of managing high volume recruitment campaigns
Experience of contributing to develop and implement E-Recruitment strategy
Experience of organising and running assessment centres
Supervisory experience including the ability to motivate and develop staff
Experience of reviewing, implementing and monitoring recruitment policies and procedures which includes use of media, selection methods and processes.
Experience of managing third party relationships including master vendor and Preferred Suppliers Lists
Experience of providing practical solutions to people and employment issues based on legislative framework
Demonstrable administrative and organisational skills including the ability to deal with a high volume of work, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to work co-operatively and flexibly as part of a team
Well-developed IT skills including use of a HR database/E-recruitment
Ability to manage HR related projects and initiatives
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Good presentational skills
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
A good understanding of Employment law and case law
Knowledge of health and safety at work
Knowledge of Data Protection and Information Security

Salary + Benefits
basic starting salary of £27,914.
In addition to your basic salary you will receive a London Weighting Allowance of £3,800 per annum

Working Hours - 35 hours per week
Annual Leave - 25 days & Bank Holidays
