A lovely, atmospheric special needs school are looking for Teaching Assistants to help support children on a long term basis with severe special needs. To be considered for this extremely fulfilling role, all applicants must have experience of working with some of the following:

•Autism
•Severe Learning Difficulties
•ADHD
•Challenging Behaviour
•MAKATON
•PECS
•Team teach
•British Sign Language
•Other Communication Techniques

Many of the children are non-verbal so suitable candidates will need to be able to work well in this environment.

Due to the specific nature of this position, successful applicants will receive excellent rates of pay.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 12 weeks of child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
