Hi. I am selling my beloved VW Golf cabriolet. It is finished in helios blue with grey interior with a blue mohair roof which i replaced 2 months ago at the cost of £335, which looks amazing! It has 132000 miles, which is nothing for these engines, with full service history from the day it was registered. This is a under mileage vehicle (1 year = 10k - 15k). It also has tax for the next 6 months and MOT for 1 year, which it passed very recently with no problems at all. If you know anything about these golfs, you will know that they were so over engineered, they will last forever if you look after them. I have all of the handbooks with the original wallet from the dealer it was bought from and I have another folder full of invoices for the car. The car has a kenwood radio/CD player with JBL speakers in the front (hidden) and a pair of Alpine speakers in the rear. I have had these installed as the sound wasn't great with the original factory sound in, but now sounds excellent, but does not look distasteful like some molested examples, it looks original. The mohair roof is electric and is in perfect working order and comes with the tonneau cover, which is VERY VERY RARE! The interior is in super clean condition as is the headlining. Mechanically this car is excellent and never let me down. It goes, drives and stops brilliantly. The bodywork is also in good condition for its age. There are a few very minor scratches which if you were fussy you could deal with and the alloys are a bit scuffed, but it still looks amazing when its clean and attracts a lot of nice attention. I have had so many nice compliments about this car from so many people. I have to sell this car as I am looking for something bigger as I am starting a new venture and haven't got space for 2 cars, otherwise I would not be selling it. This car has been very loyal to me and are getting so hard to find in this condition... and at this price! Everything on the car is original (apart from the sound system). It also comes with 2 sets of keys, and extra gear knob, as I have a rare golfball type fitted and an autolok, to lock the handbrake and gearstick when you leave the car for added security. Whoever buys this car will be very happy as it looks good and drives brilliantly. No test pilots please. I would love it if this car went to someone who looks after it as well as I did, as it will look after you. £2200 or near offer.
