A new beginner Karate course is scheduled to be held on Saturdays from 15.00-16.00pm at the Martial Arts Hall on Goswell road at the City University in Islington EC1, a 5 min walk from Angel and Barbican tube stations.

Karate is a Japanese art of self-defense that has its roots dating back to Okinawa and Chinese culture and is therefore eclectic in nature with a complete systematized curriculum on impact (punches, kicks) and seizing.

Our core curriculum consists of 2 person drills on basics and advanced technique and our hall is fully matted to safely work on ground techniques, break falls etc.

12 sessions are 85 pounds with insurance (12 week cover) free of charge upoun enrolling.
