Cabinet maker / Joiner

We are currently looking to recruit a professional and experienced Joiner / Cabinet Maker who will be responsible for working to a high standard and to specific customer requirement within a furniture manufacturing environment. You will need to work to tight deadlines to produce furniture on agreed time scale to the correct specification and to the highest quality standards. You will have hands-on bench experience in the manufacture of furniture.

Key Skills Required
• Computer skills, good communication skills
• Knowledge / understanding of technical drawings
• Wood Spray Staining & Polishing experience – beneficial
• Using machines Planner/moulder/spindle/saws/router

Accountabilities
• producing working jigs or templates for production and the assembly of products
• selecting and preparing timber and manufactured boards
• marking out, cutting and shaping materials using hand tools, power tools and woodworking machines
• previous experience in the trade.
