Role
To provide excellent Network & IT Support for our clients remotely and on-site. Design & implementation of LAN /WAN solutions and remote access for clients. Regular day to day work will include (but not limited to) config/ support of Win2003/2008, Exchange, Terminal services, backup and AV management, user support and monitoring/ managing network equipment.

Good all round networking & server skills required.

Essentials
At least 2 years commercial experience:

*Desktop support of WinXP, Vista & common apps
*LAN/ WAN design, planning and documenting
*Windows 2003/ 2008/ SBS infrastructure and AD design
*Exchange 2003/ 2007 & OWA
*Terminal Services
*Server installation, configuration & migration
*Strong AD, DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, Terminal services skills (advanced level)
*IIS setup & configuration
*AntiVirus server management
*Backup & recovery - Acronis, Veritas, Storagecraft etc

*Understanding of routers, firewalls and internet connectivity
*Application support, Sharepoint, MS Office & general apps etc
*MCPs or MCSE certification

Desirable Skills
*Router, Firewall, switch support & management,
*Any experience with Zyxel, Juniper, Extreme networks and Cisco
*Support for Internet connections and VPNs, troubleshooting.
*VoIP and IP phones

You will need to demonstrate:
*Strong technical experience
*Strong face to face and telephone skills to deal with clients
*Attention to detail
*Commitiment to highest quality work
*Pro-active attitude & willing to learn new technology/ softwares
*Genuine interest in technology for business

2/3days per week during office hours (potential for more hours).
