Street Teamer for Local Theatre - Flexible hours!

Part-time position, Pleasance Theatre, Islington requires new members to join our Street Team. The Street Team is a group of word-of-mouth ambassadors who cover the local area around N7 on foot with flyers, posters and good news about Pleasance Theatre.

Generally 8 hours per day (with 45 mins off for lunch), you'll be asked to work varied days each week, or can specify if one day works better for you. There's about one day's work a week for each member, but this can increase in busier times.

Tasks include:

Taking flyers and posters to local businesses, schools, health centres and libraries and requesting that they display them.

Replenishing the flyers and posters outside and inside the theatre.

Distributing brochures to local libraries.

Hand to hand flyering outside stations, or exit flyering shows at other theatres.

You'll be out on the road alone for most of the time, so you'll need to be motivated and unabashed if unsuccessful when requesting a business puts up a poster.

You'll be armed with a digital camera to take pictures of your successful poster sites, and will need good stamina!Rate of pay are £6 per hour (£7 per hour if you are asked to work after 7pm) and perks of the job include the opportunity to see shows at Pleasance Theatre for free (subject to availability).
