Nanny / babysitting live-in jobs
Live in Au Pair Plus
We are looking for a friendly and above all happy live in “Au Pair PLUS” to help with our 2 children aged 4 and 2 years (mother is pregnant so a third child will arrive in December). You will have your own bedroom with TV, Freeview DVD and internet access in our 5 bedroom house and share a bathroom with the children.
We live in Battersea / Clapham SW11 close to Clapham Common and Northcote Road with its lovely shops and bars. Clapham Junction is nearby.

The job will be predominantly centred around the children (with regular periods of sole child care) plus some housework. Annabelle starts full-time school in September and Thomas starts nursery 3 mornings a week in January.
We are looking for someone who is experienced with young children and has past experience of caring for them. They should be tolerant of the ways of small children, patient, kind and able to use their own initiative at all times. We require someone fluent in English and to stay a minimum of a year. We are a relaxed family to work with (we have had just 2 au pair / nannies in 4 and a half years). Non-smoker. Ideal for someone already familiar with, and settled in, London.
Responsibilities:
•Approx 40 hours per week including Saturday mornings to 10.30am (you will have at least an afternoon off each week as well as the remaining Saturday and Sunday)
•2 nights babysitting( usually mid-week).
•Help getting the children up and ready for school/nursery in the morning
•Preparing and clearing up children’s meals
•Playing with the children, taking to the park and to classes / activities
•Light housework including general tidying and some ironing (we have a separate cleaner twice a week)
•Helping out at children’s bath time and bed time
•On Saturday morning, getting the children up and supervising them until 10.30am
•Other duties as required
•Joining us on family holidays (the ability to travel to Europe without special visa is vital)
• Tolerant of the ways of small children, patient, and kind. Able to use their own initiative at all times.
You will need recent checkable references. We will want to interview so you will need to be currently in London.
Salary £160 plus - depending on hours / experience / responsibility.
