We require a conscientious person to work in the North American Department. It is a split role, crossing over two Sections - Open Market and Binding Authorities - and working in a large general office. This is not a role for someone looking to advance their career - it requires a flexible approach with attention to detail.

A good working knowledge of Slips / Processing is essential.

They will assist the Senior Technician and their duties will be :

- Preparation of MRC Slips so should have basic knowledge of Insurance ;

- Preparation of Certificates and Policies ;

- Preparation of Bordereaux for submission to Xchanging so should have basic knowledge of Stage One submissions, including preparation of Premium Advice Notes ;

- Logging and entering of Submissions ;

- Updating and recording Premiums and Risk details within an XL spreadsheet and making sure Underwriters’ subjectivities are complied with ;

- Minor Back-up Broker duties including putting up quotes on behalf of Brokers, chasing information and confirmation of bound Risks ;

- Processing of Premium and Claims Bordereaux for Binding Authorities.
