Leading NW2 based organisation require an experienced Marketing/ Communications Officer
Role will include:
Reviewing and approving advertising material submitted by Distributors, in both print and new media formats.
* Pro-actively dealing with Distributors regarding any unapproved advertising, both by phone and by email.
* Ensuring that a range of up to date approved advertising is available for Distributors to download from the Intranet
* Internal liaison with supervisors and managers to obtain any necessary revisions to our range of marketing and COE material.
* Making revisions across the full range of publications & media; including updating artwork files.
* Proof-reading an extensive range of material prior to internal/external publication.
* Some copywriting for print and online media.
* A range of general administration work as required.
Key Attributes:
* Ability to work on your own and also as a member of a small, busy team, often under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Demonstrably good working knowledge of MS applications, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and, ideally, Publisher.
* Demonstrably good working knowledge of QuarkXPress is essential
* Demonstrably excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated, highly organised and used to working to high and exacting standards.
The ideal candidate will have spent time working in a busy
marketing/communications role, and will be able to combine creative
flair when required with close attention to detail and a willingness to undertake basic administrative tasks.
