Urgent Chalet Chef Position Verbier, Switzerland
Professional chefs needed for luxury chalets in vibrant ski resort
Ski Verbier is looking for talented chefs to come and join our team of young professional chefs and hosts. You will run one of our chalets in conjunction with a Chalet Host and will be required to provide beautifully cooked and presented meals for between 8 and 12 guests. You will provide cooked breakfast, homemade afternoon tea, canapés and a four-course evening meal six days per week.
Working hours generally run from 07.30-11.00 and 17.00-22.30.
Ski Verbier's excellent reputation has been built on its exceptional cuisine and high quality service. If you are a creative, passionate and dedicated chef, we would like to hear from you.
Recommended qualifications/experience for applicants include:
• Recognised catering qualification or diploma (min 6 months) or at least 3 years catering experience to high standard dinner parties
• Stock control and budgeting experience
• Basic food hygiene certificate
Package includes competitive salary, full area seasonal lift pass, accommodation, ski/snowboard rental, personal food budget, insurance and return flights to Geneva.
Ski Verbier has been operating solely in Verbier, Switzerland, for the last 17 winters, and with 18 stunning chalets and two of our own hotels, we are firmly established as 'The' Verbier Specialists.
Verbier is reputedly one of the best ski resorts in the world. As famous for its extreme skiing, as its nightlife, staff benefit from spending a whole season in a resort where most can only dream of visiting for a week.
We have positions available from the beginning of December through to the end of April.
