JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Outdoor Promotions Team Member
Reports to: London Manager
Office Location: The Busworks, 39-41 North Road, London N7 9DP

The job holder will be required to meet in different locations across London and may not often need to call in at the office.
Hours of Work: 10-30 hours / week depending on availability, mostly Monday to Friday. There will be 4 hour shifts that will vary from early starts to early evenings and some across the lunchtime periods. There is also the opportunity to work Saturdays.
Salary: £7.50 / hour plus benefits (such as pre topped up oyster card and free membership to use City Cars).

City Car Club is the UK’s 1st and leading Pay as You Go Car club operator. We are a young, energetic company which has grown by over 100% over the past 6 months and we are confident we will continue to blitz that growth rate over the next 12 months!
In order to help us achieve this aim we need enthusiastic individuals to take on the role of the Outdoor Promotions Team.

This exciting opportunity offers you the opportunity to take on a variety of duties to contribute to the continuing success by bringing in new members by identifying, organising and helping to manage a variety of fun summer events
The job will primarily focus on prospecting for private members but there is scope and potential to work with business and other organisational prospects. City Car Club is a fast expanding company with excellent career development prospects for the right candidate.

Job Purpose:
To increase awareness of City Car Club and increase London club membership by promoting near by to London City Cars through a programme of leafleting and face to face meetings with the public on-street and with other prospects throughout London.

Personal Profile:
1. Enthusiasm for selling City Car Club to the public.
2. Able and willing to work in a team environment.
3. Energy and stamina to distribute leaflets or attend events for time slots of several hours at a time.
4. Fun and outgoing personality.
5. Good communication skills for interacting with the public.
6. Genuine passion to bring about less damage to the environment through our daily living would be valued.
7. Ability to drive City Cars would be an advantage but is not essential (currently our insurers require drivers to be at least 21 years old with a full licence for two years).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attendance at a variety of promotional events to increase awareness and membership amongst private individuals and businesses.
2. Distribution of promotional leaflets and materials throughout London
3. Verbal / face to face communication with prospects generating leads and members.
4. Leafleting outside major transport hubs
5. Door to door flyer drops
6. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
If you can drive and you have completed a DVLA licence check, you will receive free membership of the Car Club.
