I’m looking to start a serious music project with a co-writer.

I play guitars and usually produce for others but now I want to start my own thing.

I’m looking for a talented co writer who has the ability to write good lyrics and come up with melodies. It’d be ideal if you are a singer but as long as you can sing you ideas thats fine and a proper vocalist will be recruited later on. It’d also be good if you can play an instrument preferably piano/keyboards and have some theory knowledge.

The most important thing is that your highly motivated, ambitious and open minded. Music is my life and I need someone like minded who will want to gig, bars clubs open mics festivals etc

The plan is to write the songs on a stripped down level then and then expand it into a band.

I don’t want to impose a path on what the music will be I’m influenced and appreciate a ton of different music. However it will have a fairly commercial structure (lets be honest we need to sell the music to live right!) and i like mixing genres ..straight rock indie etc is quite boring for me.

I’ve got good equipment to do demos but when it comes to doing final recordings and mixing I like to go to a proper studio. All costs would be split in half and maybe more ways when band increases.

I need a fast and committed partner so we can look to get management and gigging.

This might all sound very specific but having the same goal will be good for both of us.

Send me whatever you’ve got such as a myspace demos etc even if its a rough vocal or instrumental. Also include your age, music tastes and musical background/experience.
