St Margarets House is a unique Charity Organsiation providing space, opportunities and support to charities, community organisations and initiatives in the vibrant, multicultural borough of Tower Hamlets in the East End of London.

We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience with us, and gain an insight into working for a third sector organisation. Initially, we are looking for someone to work with us for at least 3 months, for 1 day a week. This is an unpaid placement, however we will provide lunch and travel costs

The successful applicant will assist the events officer with day to day tasks as well as with larger projects, and will also offer support to the director and other office staff. They will be actively involved in the booking, promotion and marketing of our current programme of events. Previous experience is preferable, however, more importantly, we are looking for someone who is motivated to join our team, willing to help carry out a wide variety of tasks and quick to learn new skills.

We ensure that the chosen candidate will benefit from working with us, providing help, support and training however we can. The role will provide valuable experience in music promotion and live events management, as well as experience in general office administration. However, the chosen candidate will ultimately get from the internship what they put into it. We are looking for someone who wants to make the most of their time with us, a motivated self starter who is willing to learn new skills and develop their talents as much as they can.
