This is a Ltd Edition Tele designed by the Fender Custom Shop for the innovative folk country picker: Jerry Donahue.

Made in Japan in very small numbers in 3 colours.

This one is a translucent red.

The body is a double bound light and resonant basswood.

The neck is rock maple (1 piece with skunk stripe on back) with a 1950s V shape profile.

Bridge and tuners are 50s style with brass bridge saddles.

Neck pickup is a staggered pole Strat pickup.

Bridge pickup is a flat poled 50s style Tele pickup.

Switching is 5 way.

Condition is worn but not battered.(some dinks on body but no bare wood)

A great sound for Country, Funk , glassy, twangy, nasal sounds.

Any new Japanese average Tele will set you back £700 and more (if you can find one).
