Sales Assistant in Busy Make-Up Company
We are a professional make-up and special effects supplier in London, with two busy shops, and an even busier mail-order office.
We have a sales assistant position available. At present this is a three month contract, but could lead to a further contract. The role is primarily assisting customers in person, by phone, fax and email, advising customers with good product knowledge, checking and packing orders, and other general duties. The role will also require you to keep the shop clean and stock shelves.
Hours: Full-time 5 days per week between Monday to Saturday plus Sundays on a rotational basis (paid as over-time)
You should:
Be able to prioritise and organise your workload
Have experience of handling and dealing with complaints
Have excellent English and communication skills, good grammar and spelling
Have a clear speaking voice and bright, bubbly telephone manner
The ability to develop a good rapport with customers is ideal - you will be communicating by telephone, face to face in the store, e-mails, letters and faxes
An interest in make-up or special effects and a willingness to learn more
An ability to work to targets and follow procedures
Pride in your work
You should have experience in a similar customer service role

Salary of £14,000 per annum pro rata
