Pastry chef required for stylish neighbourhood restaurant to £24k

We are currently recruiting for a pastry chef to join the team at Kensington Place, between Kensington and Notting Hill. We have re-designed our menu and re-vamped the restaurant into a stylish and contemporary space.

The focus of our menu is on classic contemporary dishes, and include the finest ingredients, prepared with flair and precision. Together with a fast paced atmosphere, the kitchen at Kensington Place is the ideal place to learn from the best. Training to the highest standards is a focus for the head chef and his team, and we are committed to ongoing training and development.

We require a pastry chef who can confidently run our pastry section by creating menus with the head chef to the highest standards, maintain the section and train and develop junior chefs in pastry.

You will work alongside Henry Vigar, our head chef, in a talented and developed team to deliver a fantastic seasonal menu. The role is ideal for those who have a strong passion for food and fine dining.

We are looking for team players with a dedicated approach to work, who are willing to learn and excel under pressure. Ideally candidates will be qualified in pastry and will have experience from a similar background, in fine dining or Michelin starred restaurants.
