Religious Studies Teacher required for part time post in good high school in Harrow.
A successful co-educational school, described as ‘highly effective’ in Harrow is looking for a fully qualified RE teacher who would like to teach the subject on a part time basis. This is likely to be one and a half days a week. This post is due to start in September. You should have a relevant teaching degree that is recognised in the UK and ideally have some experience of teaching in a London classroom. UK Qualified and members of the GTC, and Overseas Qualified teachers that have QTS are welcome to apply. Overseas Qualified teachers with Naric checks who have not been teaching for more than 3 years in the UK are also sought after.
It is essential that you can provide 2 teaching references. We strongly prefer references to relate to teaching practice within the past 24 months. Referees must be Head Teachers or Heads of Department who can be contacted at work and in their professional capacities. Private addresses or contact numbers for referees are not acceptable.
Must hold a current work visa for the UK and be currently residing in the UK.
Ideally you should hold a British CRB issued within the past 12 months. If you have spent more than a year outside of the UK during the past 5 years then you must already have a Police check from that country.
