There has arisen a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of the Deaf in Outstanding (OFSTED inspection last week) Special Needs school

You will be required to work in partnership with a team of experienced and dedicated staff and make the school a flagship for deaf education. This is a great opportunity for you to make a big impact.

You will need vision and ambition, and with your excellent interpersonal skills will build warm relationships to keep the school right at the heart of the community.

The ideal candidate will already be a Teacher of the Deaf, or a motivated teacher who is qualified to British Sign Language 2 (BSL2) and wants a challenging and rewarding career. The school is well resourced and highly regarded by parents, pupils and the LEA. There are also 3 excellent Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s) to support you in class.
