First of all, thanks for taking your time to read this ad. I'm a Mathematics graduate with experience in software development (almost 3 years combined between C/C++, ABAP and Ruby on Rails) looking forward working as a Ruby on Rails developer. The skills that helped me achieving a degree in Mathematics are: analytical, hard-worker and problem solver. Other skills/experience I can offer:

Ruby on Rails experience:
* Started learning Ruby on Rails 3 months ago.
* I've been developing the sites www.happiestbday.com and www.getafixie.com
* Both sites work with Passenger and MySQL. I've also developed the HTML and CSS.
* The first site I started developing was www.getafixie.com, although it's not finished. I'd like to mention that:
1) I had to define some has_many relationships (a bike has_many colors, sizes and conblinations of sizes and colors).
2) I'm using an RJS template to change the pictures when choosing a color using the drop-down list.
* In www.happiestbday.com I introduced some improvements respect getafixie:
1) Used the file_column plugin and RMagick gem to deal with images.
2) Used the class ActionMailer to send e-mails.
* Another improvement I'm planning to do is replace the current authentication system I'm using with the restful_authentication gem.

Other programming skills:
* C/C++ (3 semesters at university), ABAP (1 year work experience), Python (self-taught), Matlab (1semester at university), Maple (1 semester at university).

Work experience:
July 2008 – July 2009. Indra Sistemas SA (Barcelona – Spain). Position: ABAP developer.
* Worked as an ABAP developer on the implantation of a new SAP version in Cobega (The Coca-Cola Company).
* Transferable skills acquired on this position:
1) First, can work as a software developer.
2) Used Google when I couldn't find the solution to a problem.
3) Learned how to deal with databases.
4) Team work.
5) Meeting deadlines

1) September 01 – July 08: Degree in mathematics (5 year degree)

* Spanish and Catalan: mother tongues.
* English: fluent (lived one year in Sheffield).

* Windows / Ubuntu environments.
* MS Office / OpenOffice advanced user.
