Summer of Cricket -Enthusiastic cricketers wanted for South West Londons most exciting Cricket Club
The Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club seek players from South West London - Wimbledon, Earlsfield, Clapham, Putney, Southfields & Raynes Park areas for the 2010 season. We have 8 teams - 5 Sat teams, 4 of which play a good standard in the Surrey championship, 1 Sat friendly team and 3 Sunday teams.
As well as providing a competitive & friendly cricket for our members we also value creating a funfilled & friendly atmosphere and thus have a thriving social scene including regular Bbq's/braai's after the game, beers on the patio, big screen TV for watching key sporting events, lots of social gatherings and events throughout the playing/off season.
We also have 20/20 competition every Wednesday evening with 8 teams involved from the surrounding Wimbledon area.
