As a new member in the team you will be working alongside a Practice Director on a range of projects across the sectors. Responsibilities will be either predominantly front-end or all-encompassing depending on your level of experience. The ability to contribute to the team and work alongside other more experienced Architects is key to this position. The initial key focus will fall with a particular client who has 15 projects planned across the UK with a particular emphasis on London. These projects essentially fall within the sheltered housing sector but are biased towards the hospitality and leisure sectors, as they are extremely high-end developments. Taking a step away from the UK-based model of retirement villages, these developments approach a hotel-style in design and provide luxury facilities, which fall in to the leisure sector. After an initial period with this as a project focus, the full scope of Projects will be available to the successful applicant.
As a Part I Architect you will be supporting other members of the team but the opportunity to be involved at all stages is at the fore-front of this role. The team will be working together at all stages of the project therefore this offers an excellent chance to gain full exposure to the whole lifecycle of the project. Working experience would be looked upon extremely favourably.
AutoCAD proficiency and some UK experience are essential prerequisites to this role.
