Adults Safegarding Manager
We are currently seeking a Safeguarding Adults Manager to join an Adults protection Team in the East London Area.
Duties and Responsibilities;
1. Ensure that the work meets the requirements of: legislation; Department of Health policy directives; Care Quality Commission Standards and Council Objectives.
2. To lead on the initiation, development and implementation of inter-agency policy, practice and procedures for the protection of vulnerable adults.
3. To advise senior managers and members in the local authority and in other agencies on the development and implementation of policy, practice and procedures in this area of work.
4. Manage and be accountable for relevant devolved budgets and resources ensuring that budget targets are met and that the financial implications of the work are considered and understood by managers and staff.
5. Make a positive contribution to the development of the service area and be responsible for developing and implementing relevant policies and strategies as identified by the Assessment and Care Management, Management Team.
6. To prepare and update the Business Plan for the Safeguarding Board.
7. To oversee the operation of the Serious Case Review Protocol.
8. To prepare and/or manage all related reporting, including the Annual Report of the Safeguarding Board.
9. To write and present reports as required and to attend meetings as required.
10. Work within and develop local partnership approaches to service delivery
Pay rate from £32 - £41 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
