Yes you read it right, 2 ex members of Fela Kuti's Egypt 80 band are here in London and are looking to do big things and get this dry music scene pumping with some afro-beat grooves. We're playing fela-kuti tunes and hi life originals plus some reggae.

We have rehearsal rooms in Hackney and Clapham.

Gigs in Cargo and Passing clouds under our belt but is early days and need to get solid band sorted out.

We need - Sax, trumpet, keys, precussion (this can be just cow bell but more is welcome) and backing vocals - female preferred.

Great things to come out of this so if you want to be part of the heart of the London Afro-beat scene get involved.
