We are looking for a loving live out nanny/carer with some knowledge of disability and personal care, or a keeness to learn, to help look after our two little daughters.
Phoebe will be 8 in December; she has cerebral palsy and visual impairment and is in a wheelchair but loves life and her school where she goes every day. When she’s not at school, her favourite things to do are visits to the cinema, starbucks, the shops, and hanging out at home watching films like Mary Poppins or TV programmes like Home and Away and Paul O'Grady !
Georgie will be two in December, and is a very happy little girl who is learning all about life and loves going to her daily groups and the playground as well as running around trying to perform the routines from Hi Five !.

We are looking for someone to work 5 days a week, two of those starting at midday as Georgie has playgroup (probably Monday and Thursday but we can be flexible).
Finish time would be 6.30. Phoebe finishes school at 4.30 and both of them are in a good routine. Ideally, it would be good if you were able to do some occasional additional babysitting. There is always some extra help in the school holidays.
We would need a driver, someone with excellent spoken English and someone who can swim.

I am a journalist and my husband is an art dealer, we live in central Islington, near the Angel N1, employ a cleaner, are not looking for a slave, but someone who will help Phoebe get the most out of life and encourage Georgie to be a good girl and say her please and thank yous !
The pay is £9.50 neg. Five weeks paid holiday a year.
There would be a 2 week paid handover period from the beginning of December.
Our current nanny is going home to SA to live and is happy to give us a reference!
