Milk Studios are shared offices for freelancers and small businesses. They are light, airy, open-plan studios where individuals or small businesses can rent desk space, short or long-term.

We have two buildings and this one, The Albion, is a converted pub just off Ladbroke Grove and has room for 40 people spread over three floors. The space is open-plan which is perfect for sole traders and there are also separate areas suitable for groups of two or three. It has big windows and wooden floors. There are quiet corners, comfy sofas, bathrooms and a friendly office dog.

Among us are journalists, photographers, architects, consultants and IT businesses. On an average day, each floor has four or five people working, creating a nice hum, but not too much noise to concentrate. Additional charges are charged at cost (£29.50 per month). These are for ADSL broadband, a firewall and router, cleaning and as much tea and coffee as you can drink. We provide desks, shelves, a photocopier and a communal fax machine. Each person brings their own computer, their own chair and a telephone if they want a line.
