ONE OF OUR CURRENT VACANCIES:
We currently have a vacancy as a live-in carer for a young lady who is in her 20s and has Cerebral Palsy. She lives in Sussex in her family home but leads an independent lifestyle with the help of her carer. This client has a great sense of humour and is very sociable. She attends a day centre and various courses so there is plenty of free time for the carer in this position. In her spare time the client loves to watch TV, use her computer and she also enjoys wheelchair dancing. She has a number of pets that she is very fond of so a love of animals is important in this position. The successful applicant will need to be a confident driver as the client gets out and about a lot. They would ideally be energetic and able to motivate without being pushy.
Duties in this position include some personal care, keeping the client’s affairs clean and tidy, some cooking, helping look after her pets and accompanying the client when she goes out.
