Chef de Partie Sous Chef
We are a independent modern company, based in the heart of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by beautiful countryside sits our village pub & guest house, quintessentially English, offering some of the best locally sourced food and ale within the area.
If you are an experienced Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking to progress your career we have a fantastic opportunity for you.
Working alongside our award winning chef you must be passionate about food and produce, and looking to learn at every chance.
Everything we use in the kitchen is 100% traceable and fresh, from vegetables, fish & meat, to the eggs we serve at breakfast.
You need to work well under pressure and be capable of running multiple sections within the kitchen, whilst preparing all your own mise en place and ensuring the smooth running of your section in service times.
As a C.D.P/Sous chef you should have a solid understanding of your job description, and be able to pepare your own prep and order lists, have a basic food hygiene certificate, your own whites & knives.
You must have an eye for detail and have creative flair, be a fast & clean worker with the ability to multi task and communicate clearly with co-workers.
Expect about 50 hour weeks and plently of opportunity to gain experience at AA Rosette level.

Normal working hours & holiday apply, with two days off per week.
Salary will reflect your ability and is paid weekly.
References are required, as is a good command English and valid employment status.
Shared live in accommodation is available.
