Dating from a few years before Queen Victoria's accession to the throne, this delightful item of unmolested antique furniture is offered for sale in very clean sound condition. It has a central section with two arch top mirror doors behind which is a huge chest of drawers and above are four linen slides. Either side of the fitted central section are two single sections each with plenty of hanging space. Like the central mirror doors the doors that enclose the hanging sections are arch topped and these outer doors are finished with flame mahogany panels. The wardrobe separates into six sections for ease of transportation, and all drawers and slides to the central section are present and in original condition. Please be aware that this is a large, solid and substantial piece of very good quality antique furniture. It will require two people to lift it, and will require a degree of reassembly when you get it home. It is of course made of SOLID TIMBERS throughout, except for the decorative flame mahogany veneers to the outer doors which are veneer on solid timber. The sides are stepped i.e. lower than the central section making the item appear quite refined despite it's large size.
